Return on investment — profit or loss divided by capital invested, usually expressed as a percentage.

Fee-aware ROI uses invested capital after buy fees and proceeds after sell fees. Raw price percent moves ignore commissions and can mislead on short trades.

Break-even price is the sell level that recovers invested capital after sell-side fees.
