How easily you can buy or sell size without moving the price much. Thin books and shallow AMM pools mean higher slippage.

Market-cap is not liquidity. A large-cap coin can still be expensive to trade on a quiet pair or chain.

Estimate slippage and fees before rotating size — especially across bridges where gas and depeg risk stack.
