How to use Target Price / ROI Planner

Enter entry and stop to define 1R, then choose R-multiples. Read take-profit prices and compare them to fee break-even.

Example: what price gives a 50% return?

You bought 10 coins at $100. What price do you need for a 50% return, or for $200 of profit?

  1. Target price for 50% ROI = $100 × (1 + 50%) = $150
  2. Profit at that price = ($150 − $100) × 10 = $500
  3. Target price for $200 profit = $100 + $200 ÷ 10 = $120 (20% ROI)

You need $150 for a 50% return, or $120 to make $200.

Formula & methodology

1R = |entry − stop|. target_nR = entry ± n×1R (direction depends on long/short).

Set crypto take-profit prices from R-multiples

Target prices tied to stop distance keep reward symmetric with the risk you claimed at entry.

Scale-outs belong in a take-profit ladder; sizing belongs in position size. Fees belong in fee break-even before celebrating a tight scalp.

Frequently asked questions

How are target prices calculated?+

From entry, stop distance (1R), and the R-multiples you choose — e.g. 2R maps to entry plus twice the stop distance on a long.

Should the first target clear fees?+

Yes. Check fee break-even so a 1R take-profit is not fee-negative after round-trip costs.

How does this relate to a take-profit ladder?+

Target price gives levels; a take-profit ladder allocates size across those levels when you scale out.
